Riplife Gaming Technologies

At Riplife Gaming Technologies, I worked in a team delivering a scalable, multibranded platform for a variety of the leading online gambling companies (Bodog, Bovada,, etc).

Working closely within a cross-disciplinary team, I helped develop a distributed SOA (Service Orientated Architecture) that handled up to 5 million monthly unique visitors (over 30 million monthly page requests) and securely handled a large volume of international transactions. We employed Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to deliver a complete product within a very short period of time, and to co-ordinate with teams across 3 countries.

I travelled from Barcelona to London to teach a team of developers how to use the software, and it was very well received and is currently being used with their projects. I also relished the opportunity to explore new technologies and methodologies like Jasmine (Behaviour Driven Development framework) and Sencha Touch (HTML5 and Javascript based mobile development framework).
