Capricorn is an automated trading system that trades the foreign exchange markets (Forex) without human intervention. It uses statistically successful trading rules to open long and short trades automatically using a low-latency connection to a Swiss bank, generating profits 24 / 7. By employing domain-specific Artificial Intelligence (AI) and volatility based parameters, it can consistently update itself in order to stay up-to-date with an ever-changing marketplace.
Capricorn is written in Java, with a separate web-based interface built in PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS. Because of the complex nature of the financial markets, writing Capricorn was both my biggest challenge and greatest achievement.
